Ilestro is a competitive arena fighter where every match is a wager, every round reshapes your loadout, and the ancient Wardens collect their cut from everything.
The Fight
Sword-only arena combat. By lore and by law, no other weapon touches the arena floor. This constraint is total — and it defines everything about the game's feel.
Matches are short, intense skill tests. Read your opponent. Control space. Every round is a clean slate — you died or won, and now you're back in the Buy Phase.

The Buy Phase
Between rounds, you spend Gold on a randomized pool of abilities. The pool is different every time. The team that builds the better synergy — not just individually, but together — has the edge.
This is where games are decided. Not in the arena — in the shop.
The Voyage
The Voyage is the meta-game. A linear climb from Destination 1 to Destination 5 — Ilestro itself. Each destination requires a set number of wins to advance. One loss ends the voyage.

Each destination escalates Anima buy-ins and escalating cosmetic rewards. Legendary cosmetics only drop at Ilestro — and everyone in the arena can see what you're wearing.
Anima
Anima is the meta-currency. It is also the consolidated devotion of mortal followers — people below the clouds who have pledged themselves to an immortal in exchange for protection, purpose, or simply proximity to divinity.
When Anima changes hands between immortals, followers convert their allegiance. When it flows into the Wardens — as rake, as fees, as cosmetic purchases — those followers don't convert. They die below the clouds. Plague. Famine. Quiet exits.
The immortals all know this. It is folk wisdom in the stands, mentioned the way one might mention the weather. The distance between cause and consequence is simply too vast to feel.
Cosmetics
Gear is modular — sword, boots, hair, eyes — and rarity is tied to voyage depth. Common pieces come easily. Legendary pieces require reaching Ilestro. Everyone in the arena sees what you're wearing. Legendary cosmetics are a visible record of mastery.
